Indication

- Prevention of pregnancy - Regulation of menstrual cycle - Reduction of menstrual pain - Management of heavy periods

Ingredients

• Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol

Direction

Take one tablet daily at the same time for 28 consecutive days. Follow the blister pack sequence until the pack is empty before starting the next.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Breast tenderness or swelling
• Weight fluctuations
• Mood changes or depression
• Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
• Headache or migraine

Precautions

• Increased risk of blood clots
• Avoid if smoking over age 35
• Contraindicated with history of breast cancer
• Not for patients with severe liver disease
• History of migraines with aura
• Monitor blood pressure regularly
