Indication
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) - Functional bowel disorders - Abdominal bloating and gas - Intestinal cramping and pain - Flatulence and meteorism
Ingredients
- Alverine citrate and Simeticone
Direction
Take one capsule orally two to three times daily, preferably at the start of meals. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Allergic skin reactions
- Low blood pressure (rare)
- Liver enzyme elevations (rare)
Precautions
- Allergic reaction to alverine or simeticone
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (consult doctor)
- Liver function monitoring may be needed
- History of intestinal obstruction
