Indication
- Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Reflux esophagitis - H. pylori eradication in combination therapy
Ingredients
- Pantoprazole
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, usually one hour before breakfast. Tablets must be swallowed whole without being crushed or chewed.
Side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Flatulence
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Severe liver impairment
- Reduced Vitamin B12 absorption with long
- term use
- Increased risk of hip/wrist/spine fractures
- Monitor magnesium levels during prolonged therapy
- Use in pregnancy only if strictly necessary
