Indication
- Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection - Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Chronic gastritis associated with H. pylori - Prevention of ulcer recurrence
Ingredients
- Lansoprazole
- Amoxicillin
- and Clarithromycin
Direction
Take one dose (usually 3 pills) in the morning and one dose in the evening, ideally before meals. Complete the full 7-14 day course as prescribed.
Side effects
- Diarrhea or loose stools
- Nausea and vomiting
- Altered sense of taste (metallic)
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Oral or vaginal candidiasis
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to penicillin or macrolide antibiotics
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- History of QT interval prolongation
- Potential for severe diarrhea (Clostridioides difficile)
- Use with caution during pregnancy
