Indication
- Hypercholesterolemia - Hypertriglyceridemia - Mixed dyslipidemia - Reduction of elevated LDL-C
Ingredients
- Fenofibrate
Direction
Take orally once daily with a meal to improve absorption. The tablet or capsule should be swallowed whole.
Side effects
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea or vomiting
- Headache
- Back pain
- Increased serum transaminases
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Monitor liver function regularly
- Avoid in severe renal impairment
- History of gallbladder disease
- Risk of muscle pain or rhabdomyolysis
- Allergic reaction to fenofibrate or peanut/soy
