Indication
- Fever and minor aches - Cough suppression - Nasal congestion (DayQuil) - Runny nose and sneezing (NyQuil) - Sore throat relief
Ingredients
- Acetaminophen
- Dextromethorphan HBr
- Phenylephrine HCl (DayQuil)
- Acetaminophen
- Dextromethorphan HBr
- Doxylamine succinate (NyQuil)
Direction
Take DayQuil every 4 hours and NyQuil every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses of any combination in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Drowsiness (NyQuil)
- Nervousness or insomnia (DayQuil)
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Dry mouth or throat
Precautions
- Severe liver damage with overdose
- Avoid alcohol during use
- Do not use with MAOIs
- Do not use other acetaminophen drugs
- Caution with high blood pressure
