Flammazine 50g Cream (Sulfadiazine) 50g

Indication

- Prevention of infection in burns - Treatment of infected burn wounds - Skin graft donor sites - Infected leg ulcers - Pressure sores (decubitus ulcers)

Ingredients

• Silver Sulfadiazine

Direction

Apply topically to a cleaned wound surface. Spread a layer approximately 3-5mm thick once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Local skin irritation
• Grayish skin discoloration
• Temporary reduction in white blood cells
• Allergic skin rash
• Photosensitivity at application site

Precautions

• Known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides
• Not for use in premature infants
• Avoid use in late pregnancy
• Caution in patients with G6PD deficiency
• Risk of systemic absorption in large areas
