Indication
- Roundworm infections - Hookworm infections - Pinworm/Threadworm infections - Whipworm infections - Tapeworm infections - Hydatid disease - Neurocysticercosis
Ingredients
- Albendazole
Direction
Take orally with food to improve absorption. The tablet can be chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food.
Side effects
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Reversible hair loss
- Elevated liver enzymes
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy
- Monitor liver function during treatment
- Use caution in hepatic impairment
- Periodic blood counts required periodically
- Avoid in patients with hypersensitivity
