Indication
- Thick mucus clearance - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Bronchial asthma - Emphysema - Cystic fibrosis - Bronchiectasis
Ingredients
- Acetylcysteine
Direction
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in half a glass of water and drink immediately. Usually taken 3 times daily for adults and older children.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Stomatitis
- Rhinorrhea
- Urticaria
- Abdominal pain
Precautions
- History of gastric ulcers
- History of bronchial asthma
- Risk of bronchospasm
- Monitor for skin reactions
- Caution in phenylketonuria patients
