Indication
- Systemic fungal infections - Blastomycosis and histoplasmosis - Coccidioidomycosis and chromomycosis - Paracoccidioidomycosis treatment
Ingredients
- Ketoconazole
Direction
Take orally with food. Typically 200 mg once daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Pruritus or rash
Precautions
- Serious risk of hepatotoxicity
- Risk of QT prolongation
- Severe drug
- drug interactions
- Avoid alcohol during use
- Not for fungal meningitis
