Indication
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Blood glucose control
Ingredients
- Gliclazide
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast. Swallow whole or split in half; do not chew or crush.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
- Indigestion or stomach upset
- Nausea or abdominal pain
- Skin rash or itching
- Jaundice or liver dysfunction
Precautions
- Type 1 diabetes mellitus
- Diabetic ketoacidosis or coma
- Severe liver or kidney disease
- Concomitant use with miconazole
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Risk of hypoglycemia
