Indication

- Relief of acute asthma attacks - Treatment of bronchospasm in obstructive airway diseases - Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease - Relief of wheezing and shortness of breath

Ingredients

• Salbutamol (as sulfate)

Direction

Inhale via a nebulizer as directed by a physician. Do not inject or swallow.

Side effects

• Fine tremors of skeletal muscle
• Palpitations or increased heart rate
• Headache and nervousness
• Muscle cramps
• Throat irritation

Precautions

• Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or excipients
• Caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders
• Monitor for hypokalemia and paradoxical bronchospasm
• Caution in diabetes and hyperthyroidism
• Avoid excessive use to prevent tolerance
