Augmentin 625 mg

Indication

Broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections including those of the respiratory tract, ear, nose and throat, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and dental infections.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 500 mg
• Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate) 125 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12: usually one tablet three times daily, as directed by the physician. Swallow with water at the start of a meal. Complete the full course.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhea
• nausea or skin rash. If you experience a severe allergic reaction
• persistent diarrhea
• or yellowing of the skin or eyes
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use if you are allergic to penicillin. Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
