Indication

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina (chest pain due to coronary artery disease).

Ingredients

• Amlodipine 5 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician, usually one tablet once daily. Swallow with water; may be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• May cause ankle or leg swelling
• headache
• flushing
• dizziness or tiredness. If you experience any side effects

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe liver disease and in the elderly. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
