Indication

A sulfonylurea antidiabetic medicine used to control high blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, together with diet and exercise.

Ingredients

Direction

For oral use. Take as directed by the physician, usually with or before meals. Refer to the package insert for dosage. Follow the prescribed doses.

Side effects

May cause low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
weight gain
nausea or stomach upset. If you experience symptoms of hypoglycaemia such as sweating
trembling or confusion
consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Use with caution in the elderly and in liver or kidney impairment
avoid alcohol. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
