Clamoxyl 500 mg

Indication

A penicillin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose and throat, urinary tract, and skin.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 500 mg

Direction

Take orally as directed by the physician, usually one 500 mg capsule every 8 hours. Complete the full prescribed course. Follow the prescribed doses.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea or skin rash. Allergic reactions can occur. If you develop rash
• itching
• swelling or difficulty breathing
• stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to penicillins or other beta
• lactam antibiotics. Tell your doctor about kidney problems or any history of allergy. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
