Indication
- Mucolytic for thick mucus - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Emphysema and bronchiectasis - Respiratory tract congestion
Ingredients
- Acetylcysteine
Direction
Dissolve one effervescent tablet in half a glass of water and drink immediately. Usually taken once daily, preferably after a meal.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Stomatitis (mouth inflammation)
- Abdominal pain
- Bronchospasm
- Skin rash or urticaria
Precautions
- History of bronchial asthma
- Risk of bronchospasm
- History of peptic ulcers
- Consult doctor if pregnant
