Coversyl 5 mg

Indication

An ACE inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with stable coronary artery disease. Supplied as scored film-coated tablets.

Ingredients

• Perindopril arginine 5 mg (as 3.395 mg perindopril)

Direction

Adults: usually one scored film-coated tablet once daily, preferably in the morning before a meal, or as prescribed by the physician. The tablet can be divided along the score line. Please respect the prescribed doses.

Side effects

• May cause dizziness
• headache
• persistent dry cough or low blood pressure. If you experience swelling of the face
• lips or throat or difficulty breathing
• stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease
• are on dialysis
• or take potassium
• sparing diuretics. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
