Indication

Treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This fixed-dose combination of an ACE inhibitor (perindopril) and a diuretic (indapamide) is used in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on perindopril alone.

Ingredients

• Perindopril arginine 5 mg
• Indapamide 1.25 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually one film-coated tablet once daily, preferably in the morning before a meal. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• May cause dizziness
• headache
• cough
• tiredness
• muscle cramps and low potassium levels. If you experience any side effects

Precautions

• Contraindicated in pregnancy
• particularly the second and third trimesters. Use with caution in renal or hepatic impairment. Monitoring of electrolytes may be needed. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
