Indication

Betahistine is used to treat the symptoms of Ménière's syndrome, such as vertigo (dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hearing loss.

Ingredients

• Betahistine dihydrochloride 16 mg

Direction

For oral use. As directed by the physician; the tablets are usually taken with meals. Read the enclosed package leaflet before use.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• indigestion
• headache and mild stomach complaints. If side effects occur or persist
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• or a history of peptic ulcer or phaeochromocytoma. Tablets contain mannitol (E421). Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially if pregnant or breastfeeding.
