Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, particularly in overweight patients, when diet and exercise alone do not provide adequate blood sugar control.
Ingredients
- Metformin hydrochloride 850 mg
Direction
For oral use. Take as directed by a physician, usually with or after meals. Refer to the package insert for dosage.
Side effects
- May cause gastrointestinal effects such as nausea
- diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effects occur.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment. Not to be used during pregnancy unless advised by a doctor.
