Indication

Sulfonylurea antidiabetic used to control high blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, together with diet and exercise.

Ingredients

• Glimepiride 2 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician, usually taken once daily with or just before the first main meal.

Side effects

• May cause low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
• weight gain
• nausea or dizziness. If you experience serious side effects

Precautions

• Do not skip meals while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor of kidney or liver problems. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
