Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, particularly in overweight patients, when diet and exercise alone do not achieve adequate glycaemic control.

Ingredients

• Metformin hydrochloride 850 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually taken by mouth during or after meals. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Side effects

• May include nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• and loss of appetite
• especially at the start of treatment. If you experience any side effects

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment
