Indication

A statin used together with diet to lower high cholesterol and triglycerides and to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events.

Ingredients

• Rosuvastatin 10 mg (as calcium salt)

Direction

See package insert for full prescribing information or as directed by the physician. Usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• muscle aches
• nausea
• weakness
• or dizziness. If you experience unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness
• or weakness

Precautions

• Do not use in active liver disease or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor of all medicines you take. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney problems

• or drink alcohol regularly.
