Indication
Treatment of high cholesterol and mixed dyslipidemia, and prevention of cardiovascular events by lowering LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin (as calcium salt) 5 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usually one tablet taken by mouth once daily, with or without food, at any time of day.
Side effects
- May cause headache
- muscle pain
- weakness
- nausea and abdominal pain. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any effect persists or worsens.
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report unexplained muscle pain to your doctor. Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment. Inform your doctor of all medical conditions and medicines. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
