Indication
- Inflammatory and allergic conditions - Asthma and COPD exacerbations - Rheumatoid arthritis - Autoimmune disorders - Certain skin diseases - Nephrotic syndrome
Ingredients
- Prednisolone
Direction
Take orally with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Usually administered as a single dose in the morning or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Increased appetite and weight gain
- Insomnia and mood changes
- Fluid retention and swelling
- Indigestion or stomach discomfort
- Increased blood sugar levels
Precautions
- Do not stop treatment abruptly
- May mask signs of infection
- Use caution in diabetic patients
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
- Avoid contact with people having chickenpox
