Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycaemic control in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise, alone or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines.

Ingredients

• Sitagliptin 100 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Sitagliptin is usually taken by mouth once daily, with or without food.

Side effects

• May include headache
• upper respiratory tract infection
• nasopharyngitis
• and low blood sugar when combined with other antidiabetic medicines. If you experience any side effects

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment or a history of pancreatitis. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
