Indication
Antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract, respiratory tract, skin, bone and gastrointestinal infections.
Ingredients
- Ciprofloxacin 500 mg (as ciprofloxacin hydrochloride)
Direction
For oral use. Take as directed by a physician; dosage according to physician's advice.
Side effects
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist for possible side effects.
Precautions
- Subject to medical prescription. Fluoroquinolones
- including ciprofloxacin
- are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture
- especially in patients over 60 years
- those taking corticosteroids
- and transplant patients. Consult a doctor before use.
