Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control.
Ingredients
- Sitagliptin 50 mg
- Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg
Direction
Take as prescribed by a doctor, usually twice daily with meals.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- diarrhea
- stomach upset and low blood sugar (especially when combined with other diabetes medicines). Consult a doctor or pharmacist if side effects occur.
Precautions
- Not recommended in patients with severe kidney impairment. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
