Indication
Thyroid hormone replacement therapy for hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) and treatment or prevention of goitre.
Ingredients
- Levothyroxine sodium 75 µg
Direction
Take one tablet once daily in the morning on an empty stomach, or as prescribed by a doctor.
Side effects
- If the dose is too high
- symptoms of excess thyroid hormone may occur
- such as palpitations
- rapid heartbeat
- insomnia
- sweating or weight loss. If you experience any side effects
- consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with heart disease
- high blood pressure
- diabetes or adrenal problems. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially if pregnant
- breastfeeding or taking other medicines.
