Indication
- External otitis (swimmer's ear) - Infected eczema of ear canal - Acute bacterial ear infections - Inflammation of the outer ear
Ingredients
- Neomycin sulfate
- Polymyxin B sulfate
- and Dexamethasone sodium metasulfobenzoate
Direction
Instill drops into the affected ear(s). Usually 1-5 drops twice daily for 7 to 10 days as directed.
Side effects
- Local skin irritation
- Allergic contact dermatitis
- Burning or stinging sensation
- Itching in the ear canal
Precautions
- Do not use if eardrum perforated
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Not for viral or fungal infections
- Risk of ototoxicity if drum ruptured
