Plavix 75 mg

Indication

Prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with a history of heart attack, ischaemic stroke, established peripheral arterial disease, or acute coronary syndrome.

Ingredients

• Clopidogrel (as clopidogrel hydrogen sulphate) 75 mg

Direction

One film-coated tablet (75 mg) once daily, with or without food, or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• May include bruising
• nosebleeds
• bleeding (e.g. in the stomach or gut)
• diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• and indigestion. If any side effects occur
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients at risk of bleeding
• active bleeding
• severe liver disease
• or before surgery. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
