Chifix 100 mg / 5 mL

Indication

Antibiotic (cephalosporin) for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections.

Ingredients

• Cefixime (as trihydrate) equivalent to anhydrous cefixime 100 mg/5 mL

Direction

Shake the bottle to loosen the powder, add cooled boiled water up to the ring mark and shake vigorously to make 60 mL of suspension. Dosage as directed by the physician. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal upset such as diarrhoea. If any unusual symptoms occur
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Complete the full course as prescribed. Reconstituted suspension should be stored in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) and used within 7 days
• do not freeze. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
