Indication

Macrolide antibiotic used to treat susceptible bacterial infections such as respiratory tract, ear, throat, skin and soft tissue infections. Strawberry-flavored powder for oral suspension.

Ingredients

• Azithromycin (as dihydrate) 200 mg/5 mL

Direction

As prescribed by the physician. Shake well before adding water. Add 10 mL of pre-boiled and cooled water to the contents and shake well to make the suspension.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhea
• nausea
• vomiting or abdominal pain. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if side effects occur or persist.

Precautions

• To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only. Reconstituted suspension should be used within 7 days. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
