Indication

Third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat susceptible bacterial infections such as respiratory tract, ear, throat and urinary tract infections. Strawberry-flavored powder for oral suspension.

Ingredients

• Cefixime (as trihydrate) 200 mg/5 mL

Direction

As prescribed by the physician. Tap bottle to loosen powder, add pre-boiled and cooled water up to the mark, close the cap and shake well to make the suspension. Shake well before each use.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhea
