Newfed 2.5 mg / 5 mg / 0.5 mg per 5 ml

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion and hypersecretion during acute rhinopharyngeal conditions; common cold and allergic rhinitis.

Ingredients

• Triprolidine hydrochloride 2.5 mg/5 ml
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg/5 ml
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 0.5 mg/5 ml

Direction

Oral route, reserved for adults and children over 6 months. Children 6 to 30 months: half a teaspoon twice per 24 hours. Children 30 months to 6 years: half a teaspoon 3 times per 24 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: 1 teaspoon 3 times per 24 hours.

Side effects

• May cause palpitations
• tachycardia
• hypertension
• vomiting
• nausea
• dry mouth
• sweating
• pruritus
• urticaria and drowsiness. If you experience any side effects
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Strictly follow the dosage
• treatment duration is 5 days. Discontinue and consult a doctor if hypertension
• tachycardia
• palpitations
• arrhythmia
• nausea or any neurological sign occurs. To be used only on prescription.
