Indication

Treatment of acute diarrhoea in adults and children above 2 years, in addition to oral rehydration; symptomatic treatment of chronic functional diarrhoea and of pain associated with functional bowel diseases in adults.

Ingredients

• Diosmectite 3 g

Direction

Powder for oral suspension (Orange-Vanilla flavour). Dissolve the contents of the sachet in water before taking. Follow the leaflet or the advice of a doctor or pharmacist for dosage.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• flatulence or vomiting. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if side effects occur or persist.

Precautions

• Keep an interval of at least 2 hours between Smecta and other medicines
• as it may affect their absorption. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
