Indication

- Treatment of essential hypertension - Stroke risk reduction in hypertension

Ingredients

• Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide

Direction

Take orally once daily, with or without food, as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Dizziness and lightheadedness
• Headache and fatigue
• Electrolyte imbalances
• Orthostatic hypotension
• Nausea and diarrhea

Precautions

• Contraindicated during second/third pregnancy trimesters
• Contraindicated in severe hepatic impairment
• Contraindicated in severe renal impairment
• Monitor blood pressure and electrolytes
• Risk of symptomatic hypotension
• Avoid with aliskiren in diabetes
