Indication
- Treatment of essential hypertension - Stroke risk reduction in hypertension
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Dizziness and lightheadedness
- Headache and fatigue
- Electrolyte imbalances
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Nausea and diarrhea
Precautions
- Contraindicated during second/third pregnancy trimesters
- Contraindicated in severe hepatic impairment
- Contraindicated in severe renal impairment
- Monitor blood pressure and electrolytes
- Risk of symptomatic hypotension
- Avoid with aliskiren in diabetes
