Indication
- Hypertension - Chronic stable angina pectoris
Ingredients
- Nifedipine
Direction
Take orally. Adults: 20 to 40 mg twice daily. Swallow tablets whole with food; do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Facial flushing
- Nausea
- Peripheral edema
Precautions
- Contraindicated in cardiogenic shock
- Avoid within month of heart attack
- Caution with liver impairment
- Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice
- May cause reflex tachycardia
