Indication
- Hypertension - Supraventricular arrhythmias - Ventricular arrhythmias
Ingredients
- Atenolol
Direction
Take orally, usually 1 to 2 tablets once daily in the morning as prescribed.
Side effects
- Asthenia and fatigue
- Cold hands and feet
- Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
- Nausea and gastric pain
Precautions
- Do not stop treatment abruptly
- Contraindicated in severe asthma
- Contraindicated in uncontrolled heart failure
- Contraindicated in severe bradycardia
- Contraindicated during pregnancy
- Avoid use with amiodarone
