Indication

- Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis - Severe psoriasis and keloid scars - Severe allergic rhinitis - Adjunctive therapy for congestive heart failure

Direction

Administered by deep intramuscular, intra-articular, or intralesional injection by a healthcare professional. Shake well before use and do not inject intravenously.

Side effects

• Insomnia and restlessness
• Weight gain and fluid retention
• Moon face (Cushingoid features)
• Skin thinning and acne
• Increased risk of infections

Precautions

• Contraindicated in systemic fungal infections
• Contraindicated in immune thrombocytopenia
• Do not inject intravenously or subcutaneously
• Avoid live vaccines during treatment
• Use caution in peptic ulcer disease
