Indication
- Moderate-to-severe acute pain management - Short-term post-operative pain relief
Ingredients
- Ketorolac Tromethamine
Direction
Administered by a healthcare professional via intramuscular or intravenous injection. Usually given every 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 5 days of total therapy.
Side effects
- Nausea and abdominal pain
- Headache and dizziness
- Drowsiness and fluid retention
- Injection site pain or bruising
- Increased risk of bleeding
Precautions
- Active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding
- Advanced renal impairment or volume depletion
- History of aspirin
- induced asthma or allergy
- Third trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Peri
- operative pain in CABG surgery
- Maximum treatment duration of 5 days
