Indication
- Iron deficiency anemia - Prevention of iron deficiency in pregnancy - Prevention of iron deficiency in infants - Treatment of iron deficiency states
Ingredients
- Ferrous gluconate
- Manganese gluconate
- Copper gluconate
Direction
Dilute the contents of the ampoule in water or a non-alcoholic beverage. Take preferably before meals, divided into several doses throughout the day.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Gastric pain or heartburn
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Temporary tooth enamel staining
Precautions
- Contraindicated in iron overload (hemochromatosis)
- Not for use in thalassemia
- Contains sucrose
- caution in diabetic patients
- May cause temporary blackening of stools
- Limit tea intake during treatment
