Indication
- Relief of acute bronchospasm - Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm - Management of reversible airways obstruction
Ingredients
- Salbutamol (as Salbutamol Sulfate)
Direction
Administered by oral inhalation only. Inhale 1 to 2 puffs (100 to 200 mcg) as needed for symptom relief or before exercise.
Side effects
- Tremor
- Headache
- Rapid heart rate
- Muscle cramps
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to salbutamol sulfate
- Avoid in preterm labor management
- Monitor for worsening asthma symptoms
- Caution in cardiovascular disease patients
