Indication

Sterile intravenous solution for fluid and electrolyte replacement, to correct sodium and chloride deficits, and to supplement electrolytes; also used as a vehicle for compatible IV medications, administered under medical supervision.

Ingredients

• Sodium chloride 0.9 g per 100 mL

Direction

For intravenous infusion only, administered by a physician or qualified healthcare professional. Dose, rate and duration are individualized to the patient's fluid and electrolyte needs. Do not use unless the solution is clear and the container is undamaged; discard any unused portion.
