Indication

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), reflux oesophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and for the relief of acid-related symptoms such as heartburn and indigestion.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 20 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Capsules should be swallowed whole with water and not chewed or crushed, usually taken before a meal.

• term use may reduce vitamin B12 and magnesium levels

Precautions

• Exclude the possibility of gastric malignancy before starting treatment
• as omeprazole may mask symptoms
• Use with caution in patients with severe liver impairment
• May interact with clopidogrel
