Panadol 500 mg

Indication

Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic for the treatment of mild-to-moderate pain and fever, including headache, migraine, muscle ache, dysmenorrhoea, sore throat, musculoskeletal pain, fever and pain associated with vaccination, pain after dental procedures/tooth extraction, toothache, earache, respiratory tract infections including cold and flu, and osteoarthritis pain.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: 500 mg to 1000 mg (1 to 2 tablets) every 4 to 6 hours as required. Minimum dosing interval: 4 hours. Maximum daily dose: 4000 mg. Children 6 to 11 years: no more than four doses in any 24-hour period; do not exceed the stated dose. Oral administration only.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol or excipients.
• Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not store above 30°C.
