Indication

A corticosteroid used for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant effects in a wide range of conditions, including allergic and inflammatory disorders, rheumatic and connective-tissue diseases, skin and respiratory conditions such as asthma, and other conditions requiring corticosteroid therapy.

Ingredients

• Methylprednisolone 4 mg

Direction

On medical prescription only. Take as directed by the physician. Do not stop treatment abruptly; the dose should be reduced gradually under medical supervision.

• Fluid retention
• increased appetite and weight gain
• raised blood sugar and blood pressure
• Insomnia
• mood changes
• indigestion or gastric irritation
• increased susceptibility to infection

Precautions

• Do not stop taking suddenly after prolonged use
