Tetra C.M.P 250 250 mg

Indication

Broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including respiratory, urinary, skin and soft-tissue infections, acne, and certain sexually transmitted and atypical infections.

Ingredients

• Tetracycline hydrochloride 250 mg

Direction

Oral route. Take as directed by a doctor, usually on an empty stomach with a full glass of water, at least one hour before or two hours after meals. Avoid taking with milk, dairy products, antacids or iron. Read the leaflet carefully.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea and other gastrointestinal upset.
• Photosensitivity (increased sensitivity to sunlight).
• Tooth discolouration in children and during pregnancy.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 8 years
• during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• as it can affect bone and tooth development.
• Avoid dairy products
• antacids and iron supplements around dosing time.
• Not for people allergic to tetracyclines.
• Follow the prescribed doses. Keep out of reach of children.
